Jennifer herrera, FNP-c

Jennifer Herrera is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the medical field. She began her healthcare career working in neurology, cardiovascular intensive care, and the emergency department. These high-acuity, fast-paced environments helped shape her into a confident, knowledgeable, and compassionate clinician with a strong foundation in critical care and patient advocacy.

Jennifer later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and became nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Since then, she has worked in both urgent care and primary care settings, where she continues to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan.

She is known for her friendly, outgoing nature and her ability to build meaningful connections with her patients. Jennifer truly enjoys getting to know each individual, understanding their unique needs, and partnering with them on their journey toward wellness. Her clinical interests include preventative health, chronic disease management, and lifestyle medicine, with a special focus on identifying and reducing risk factors before illness develops.

Jennifer believes in empowering patients through education and takes the time to ensure every patient leaves their visit feeling informed, confident, and cared for. “I truly love people. I love helping them become well and be well.”

Outside of the clinic, Jennifer is the proud mother of two adult children and recently rescued an energetic Aussie mix puppy named Paisley. She’s always seeking out new adventures—whether that means traveling to sunny destinations, relaxing poolside with good music, or discovering the next great restaurant. With a big heart and an even bigger personality, Jennifer thrives in lively environments and feels most alive when she’s surrounded by people, sharing stories, laughter, and connection. Her natural warmth, curiosity, and love for life shine through in everything she does.
